Already reached the maximum number of lines of the account. Wonder if they can add a free data line or watch line?

All, relax, if you're on a legacy plan in which you have to pay taxes (regulatory, etc) , it's around $5 a line. So the free line will be $5ish. It you're on a plan that includes taxes then it's $0

Have an old simple choice plan, and don't seem to get any offers anymore.

What's the limit of the number of lines a simple choice plan can have? 10?

Does data/tablet lines and watch lines count against that 10?

Doea cancelling home internet impact any of the free phone lines? Especially, if the home internet was the last line added to the account? Thanks

Consolidation remove. Port out paid line AAA-AAA-AAAA to a temp carrier, paid line is auto cancelled --> port in AAA-AAA-AAAA over free line BBB-BBB-BBBB. Now free line is AAA-AAA-AAAA and you are down 1 paid line. Whole process could be done in an hour, but I recommend over a day or two just to make sure your temp carrier has full control over AAA-AAA-AAAA before porting back to T-mobile.

Some major caveats:
1) You must maintain the same number of lines or more for 1 year since you added any free line promotions. Dropping below the count may result in losing the free line promotion.
2) Your SOC must have a minimum of 2 base paid lines. A few older free line promotions required an extra set of base paid lines, so the min for them is 4 base paid lines. Dropping below this number may result in losing a free line promotion and the free line becoming a base paid line.
Does cancelling home internet line impact any of the free phone lines? Especially, if the home internet was the last line added to the account? Thanks

My sprint acct was converted to T-mo acct with taxes included. I had a free line from Sprint, which was also free on Tmo acct till earlier this year. When they raised the price by $5 for every line, somehow the free line from sprint was not 100% free. They started charging me $5 every month. However, the free line I acquired in April 2025 is completely free. I gotten $5 credit for a couple of months. Tired of calling them every month. Any suggestion on what to do? Thx

ty! hmm I don't see it on tlife app.
called tmobile rep and he confirmed it is there on my account but he cannot order the BYOD line. he can apply promo code after I order it for $35 credit. didn't want to risk and messup my bill.
was at costco and she sees nothing on acct.
I will try to add the line in tmobile store if it works.
though I was advised to add line at the store as well as online rep so they will adjust the credits on their end, I've politely rejected the offer. dont want to risk losing credits on my existing free lines.

PS: if you don't see this offer page on your T-life app account, don't risk adding line ! https://imgur.com/a/Z8YIP6q
