@ $20/mo for 11 lines currently...would adding another free line reduce this even more? How are others getting down to free?
I was at free with 9 lines for the longest time with ONE and 6 Lines getting KB, now at $1.50 after the recent $5 increase. Have not qualified for any Free lines for years now.

I recall getting a notification on my main line my costs would be going up $5/line, but I never saw that happen. I'm afraid to touch anything, don't wanna get too greedy. One with Plus Promo, TI, KB on most lines (latest free line couldn't get KB added after many attempts). I figure the only way to decrease bill for me now is to delete a paid line or two.

I'm assuming the additional $5 per line on the bill will apply to this as it did with the previous freebie lines.
and that's why i left this crappy company i had 10 lines started with 4 added 1 and they gave me a free line, then i needed 1 more and again they give me a free

4 + 2 + 2 free and then 2 free during promotions for no reason , then one day they raised me 40 dollars i didn't say anything oh well it was 10 lines for 160$ then they raised again 40 and i went to 200$ that's when i left and consolidated lines and got rid of the ones i didn't needed.

Like KingUltra said, it's possible to get ONE down to free with KB. Other plans can get to very cheap, like less than $10, but I don't think they can get to free. Only the first 8 base lines (6 free lines max) will give you a discount, so adding another free line won't change the price.

Free lines now are just luck of the draw. I thought lots of people qualified for ID250259 earlier this year. It had the same qualifications of no more than 2 free lines, but it was never enforced and lots of people were approved.

Has anyone successfully added the extra line just to get the extra T-Mobile Tuesday benefits without getting an additional phone? Wondering how that would work and if it's worth looking into. Thoughts?

Yeah. I talked to them today to confirm, and they said it would be fully free (no extra fees or taxes), but there was a $15 6GB data add-on on the plan, and they offered to remove it. Sneaky bastards!!!
Just noticed same thing. I'm on old Simple Choice plan and while adding the new free line, there was zero mention of additional charges, just the possible taxes since our account doesn't include taxes. Sure enough, was charged $3.50 prorated from prior month and $150 for this month for 6GB data, which the 2nd rep said is an "upgraded premium data plan" so costs additional. They are removing that, crediting me $19 which likely falls shy of the $15+$3.50+taxes actual charges (unless they prorate refund part of the $15 charge for this month), and say they will add on the regular data we should be getting for free. Still taxes+fees are ~$7/line on our other lines, so I expect this to be a "free" $7/mo line instead of they were trying to charge about $24/mo for that free line inc the premium data.
