Any thoughts on this for a total beginner V's buying a cheap use set on Facebook Marketplace?
What else would I need to add to make it usable?

is this comparable to the alesis nitro kits? i'm looking for a decent set in this price range for a christmas gift to my youngling.

My research that ultimately led me to purchasing this suggests that this kit is comparable to Alesis Nitro Pro, whereas the Titan 50 (on sale from Musician's Friend for $300 BTW) is more comparable to Alesis Nitro Max. Will fully acknowledge that I am not a drummer and set about looking at reviews and seeking input from ChatGPT. My goal was to find something below $500 that is a step up from the true budget options (Titan 50, Nitro Max, Donner DED 200 max for instance).

Of note for anyone looking, this seems to come in and out of stock a few times per day, so if it shows as out of stock, you might consider checking back after a while.
