Nice.. good timing, Cudy has actually impressed me with the tr3000 I used to replace a gl-inet 1300.

While not specd quite as high, this is half the price of a flint 2.

Only the wan port is 2.5gbit. it's not going to be easy to actually use that much bandwidth. You'd need to do some combination of usage over the gigabit ports and a fast wireless client close to the router.

No way to estimate without testing. Building materials and shielding vary wildly. It's got a shot but test and return in the return period if not.

Frustrating it doesn't have 2.5 Gbps LAN and USB 3.0. Especially as Cudy now has USB WAN working in their base firmware.

Go with Flint 2 MT6000. It's more powerful and will get support long time from OpenWRT community. You can buy from Amazon around $113.

Maybe get a multi pack mesh router. Bought an open box like new google nest 3 pack from best buy for around $100. Upgrading from net gear nighthawk 2021

Got the deal a couple weeks ago for the WR11000 and BRE3600 combo. Can't speak to this one, but the two of those work together absolutely flawlessly. I'm impressed with Cudy and never even heard of the brand until recently

Could I use this with Xfinity gateway and eero 3 pack mesh devices? House is old and signal is shoddy on first floor even with eero's.
