4k. There's ones similar to this one 4k@240hz
I don't think the 4k is ultra wide. Ultra wide 4k is a wholeLot of pixels to push.

I wish. It was as low as $800 during black Friday and people stacked promos and cash back on it to maybe bring it around $650-700 I think.

I have this monitor, and I love it! It's amazing for gaming, assuming you have a GPU that can push those pixels. Freesync helps a lot if you don't.

I use it daily. regular dev work with no issues. I think some people can be sensitive to the flicker and text clarity, so check it out at a store nearby if you can.

I had this one and upgraded to the 4K 32". Honestly, kind of miss the ultra wide sometimes. Really a great monitor and $450 is a steal.
50/50 WFH and gaming.

My Amex card is running it's own rewards for dell.com giving extra miles and $100 back on purchases over $500. The 10% discount brought my cart down to ~$480. I tossed in a KB+M to get it over $500, unfortunately, it split up the charges when it actually hit the card, so I don't believe it would have given me the $100 credit. I cancelled as I wasn't that committed to the monitor to begin with.
You could get the $799 model (AW3425DW) and get the $100 Amex credit, bringing your total to $699 but the shared Alienware 10% coupon does not work on that model.

For me, the wording on the Amex offer is "Earn a one-time $100 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $500 in one or more purchases online at dell.com by 1/31/2026. See terms."
So separate charges should still work

1) Dont like the text fringing. When there is lot of text together, i perceive the fringing as bluriness. I read about disabling clear type and installing Mac type but that is not at os level. So my applications, browsers will not be affected. If u get used to, good for u.
2) the pixel refresh program doesnt seem smart. If I sat 3 hrs and 55 mins to work and then took break, it does not start pixel refresh 🤯. It prompts the next time u login within 5 mins. That is so annoying. These prompts are good in a way. Forced 6 min break to get up and move and walk around.
3) positive is brightness, contrast, black levels for movie watching. What I like low key is that the monitor does not give out a lot of light if u change all ur apps to dark mode as most pixels are off.
