Oh and they had $2.99 delivery which is pretty reasonable. Especially considering it would cost more to drive there and back. ~20mile round trip.

Got the 4ah version the other day. Got it in, and the battery date was January 2022. Charged it up, tried it out, cut 4 limbs, and it's dead 🤷🏼

Bought the 20" version of this with the 6ah battery for $100 more last month. Kind of had buyer's remorse, but that quickly changed when I ripped through some 14-16" diameter logs like they were butter

I have the 18 inch EGO chainsaw and mine also came with the 5.0mAh battery. Works great. This is a great deal even if you just wanted the battery.

The 4aH battery is literal trash for the chainsaw and effectively doesnt work. The chainsaw doesnt even run at full power unless you have the 5 ah or better.

Don't rely on the website for these types of deals. If there are none in your area or the website says that one is available, but it's too far, you have to go INSIDE your local stores to verify.

You still have your receipt? Reach out to Ego and explain your problem. They should replace it.
