I usually get the Ultrabrite 6oz for $1.12 from Walmart. I read that it does it decent/good enough job. How does this compare to that? Worth switching?

"Ultra Brite is a budget-friendly toothpaste made by Colgate-Palmolive, known for its whitening focus. It contains fluoride and often includes baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. However, it ranks high in abrasiveness (RDA 133–145), which may risk enamel wear over time, especially with aggressive brushing."

If you have had any dental work (bonding, etc.) it is recommended to stay at/under 70 RDA.

I've only had my root canal done, other than that no other dental done. And I drink a lot of coffee/tea so my teeth is very stained. And I use an electronic toothbrush. Would sticking with Ultrabrite be fine in my case? Thanks.

Did you get a crown or just a root canal? If you have a crown, I would recommend a less abrasive toothpaste. Do you have sensitivity? If so, I would also go less abrasive.
You have to consider that the more abrasive the toothpaste, the higher risk there is of adverse/premature enamel removal, so it may be better to pursue other means of periodic whitening (peroxide gels, strips, etc.) over using a polishing/abrasive-based method.
I would ask your dentist what he/she would recommend for you, I would venture to guess they would also recommend less abrasive toothpaste. HTH
