Damn, that's a deal breaker in my house. If my kids don't see at least 2 types of chocolate chips in their pancakes, it's a bust.

I got this metal version and it works extremely well and easy to clean, holds about 3.5 C but not sure you would need more... it fills up most of my 36" blackstone

I like it because of the lid. You can make the batter the night before and store it in the fridge and then you are ready to go!

I'd rather have something that you could set to dispense the same amount of batter, rather than just eyeing it. That way you would get all the pancakes the same size. Also, if using it for cupcake batter they'd all be identically sized.
