Search the prices in an expensive market (ex. in California, where you need black tickets and yellow won't even work). Near me: $21.49 for a "regular" (laser) movie in a prime day/hour.

These will only take 11 off for adults and 8 off for kids. Booked regular avatar (not 3d) yesterday. Actual price was 20 for adult and 17.50 for kids. This took 11.19 and 8.79 off the ticket price and I had to pay the rest of the fare difference. Not worth getting these

Personally, if they sold better tasting popcorn for $5 a pop, like smaller bags, I'd probably spend $20 on popcorn. But I'm sitting there, scarfing down nasty, salty popcorn, paying $5 on the AMC promo.
