This Acer one is $16,
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FJY3MG8D

But looks like it doesn't support AU/CN, more for Europe. Only 15W max for one port so would need to bring your existing charger and plug into this for anything more substantial like a laptop

Anyone use this on a plane with loose plugs? Does this stay in tight using the UK plug? And is the outlet on this tight for USA plugs? Hope I'm making sense.

I bought this...didn't work in Europe. The prongs kept going inside.

Is it though? ... Looking at price history for New (not Used) on both CCC and Keepa, it looks like the lowest price is generally $34.19 or $35.99. I'm not sure how to look at price history with coupon codes though.
Searching for it here on SD, it looks like it's been down to $25 a couple times previously, in Sept and Nov, but I can't tell if $25 really is the regular price.

Not really, either the airplane plug or this adapter seems to have a design flaw. It can only be plugged in upside down, and the UK socket doesn't go all the way in because the unit is too large for the socket. I bought it for the same reason, but so far it hasn't worked on most airplanes

i have the 45W version and couldnt be happier. really nice that they add an extra standard US plug on the side.

these things can get a little warm if you have absolutely every port slammed and charging something. but thats no different than my anker brand plug transformer thing or my 120W multiport charger

but lets be realistic, at 70W GaN charging the heat has to go somewhere. as long as it doesnt burn itself out or cause a fire, you should be fine

Worked fine in Europe for me, the other poster must have had a broken lock because the prongs stayed out.
However it was way too loosey goosey to use in a plane outlet, but that may have also been an older outlet.

I've never seen a plane plug that wasn't as loose as a $5 hooker. No idea why that happens as public and hotel outlets get as much action.

More than any other 70W chargers? I am experiencing any charger with 65W or more gets super hot, so not sure overheating means just hot like other chargers or this model is exceedingly hot.

funny but when you consider most CONUS planes have at least four trips in a route and a captive audience i think the smart money is on the hurried ripped out plug loosening.

But i hear ya... couldn't use a higher powered adapter (65W) but an older USB plug worked fine

I dont think most people are plugging into the outlet tho. Most people probably don't even know there is an outlet to begin with. All the plugs suck from economy, to premium economy, to business. They are all always very very loose. Maybe it is not made for US plugs and it will fit a heftier UK plug better or something.
