You're not wrong on the core thought process, but Ryzen is not really that much better. And most people don't upgrade that quickly anyway, so most would end up buying a new MB and RAM anyway too.

I'd assume that lga 1851 will be here for at least the next 3-5 years. That's about average. This pc is very upgradable. I know first hand.
Anyone have thoughts on how this compares to the recent Lenovo Legion desktop deal?
- Single Stick Option: The Crucial CT16G56C46U5 (16GB) is currently out-of-stock or price-gouged at $249.99 (Newegg), though the fair price is around $130 (B&H/Provantage are backordered).
- 32GB Kit Option: I missed the recent deal for the TEAMGROUP Elite 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz CL46 Kit which was around $140.99 - $150.
Has anyone seen a current, in-stock deal on any 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-5600 UDIMM kit for under $180? I'm flexible on the brand (Crucial, Teamgroup, Hynix, etc.) as long as it's a good price and can run at 5600MHzLeave a Comment
