I'm betting it's an error in the listing, it's NSF with a white polypropylene handle, so commercial. This style of restaurant tool is almost always dishwasher safe. Winco's site doesn't say, I'm guessing it's just assumed. I also checked around several restaurant supply websites and they state that it is. Either way, it's only $2.69, not exactly a big risk. If worried you can always handwash it, very easy to clean.
