Niceeee, I realized that Inkind works for pickup. What you do is order regular not through the app and then get the check in takeout and input in app. Works! Saves on tip!
Can you explain this a bit more? Do I order takeout while at the restaurant? Or can I call it in/order online and pay in store?

Call in or order online and select pay in restaurant. Go into the restaurant and they should hand you the printed receipt. Take the check # and pay bill on InKind app. Should work. You could also call restaurant and verify. I suppose any restaurant in the InKind network will work because once you get the paper receipt and check # it works.
This worked for me, even though I just used the one from last month. In-kind is a steal if you have restaurants in your area. Between the Costco deals and these coupons, it's been super worth it.
I have never used this though I have the app. Does the $25 off $50 get applied automatically when it comes time to pay using the check number? Or do you have to search for it and apply it before making final payment?

Your applicable offers/discounts should show up during the payment process (after selecting your tip amount). If you have multiple offers that apply to the bill, you can select the one you want to use. No need to search for the offer.
On the next screen, you will select your payment method - credit card on file or InKind credits (from Costco egift card stored on your account). Tip will be charged to the credit card on file.
There will be a final confirmation page before you submit payment.

It's incredible how few of the restaurants on inkind have takeout as an option.
If inkind wants to have a larger spend, it should really force restaurants which accept inkind cash to enable takeout.
(My personal pet peeve is restaurants which didn't enable takeout, but you order at the counter, so now you have to force them to print out a bill so you can plug it in the app, push the tip to zero, press pay, and wait for them to confirm the payment).
I have restaurants near me that don't even allow inkind for takeout. 🙄
They have a sign on the door. I don't think a restaurant should be able to participate in the program unless it allows take out
I have no idea how they money, but inkind has been great for me
From what I read , they basically buy credits at a discount. Like they buy $100 worth of restaurant credit for $50. Then sell it the gift card to us for $75
