This is a fast brushless 1 16 off road truck that feels like a real hobby RC and is best for backyard bashing. It is praised for strong speed, adjustable power levels, and solid fun on concrete, asphalt, grass, snow, and leaf piles, with some runs lasting well over an hour on low power. The main concern is durability at 40 plus mph, since crashes can break parts and replacement support may be hard to find. A few reports also question the advertised top speed and note occasional early failures, so it suits buyers who want excitement and can handle repairs.

40 MPH is USUALLY (although I can't find it say this...) at the ratio the model car is at, so 1/16. So 40*(1/16)=a mighty 2.5 MPH!!!😹😹
Ummm. No. These are actual speeds. There is a guy on youtube who clocked this rc car at close to 50 mph. Research before you speak.

"Full Metal Drive Shaft & Tough Build" wouldn't that shield from breaking?
I have been enjoying RC cars for years and I always tell people they should expect parts to break and that is just a part of the hobby. Metal parts can help, but ultimately heavier and faster cars break more easily. Cheap cars like this can be a lot of fun, but don't expect to be able to keep it running in the long term, since it's hard to find replacement parts for these no name brands. Not saying it a bad buy, just have the correct expectations for it.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Any good hobby level RC car goes as fast as it states. I had a Tamiya Boomerang back in the late 80s and that thing was 1/10 scale and went 40 MPH for real. According to you, that would have been advertised as going 400 MPH.

Totally bought this for my kids.... but good luck to them getting the controller - they'll have to fight me for it. That's the way Horns teach our young, right?

They are going to:
A. Destroy it immediately
B. Destroy it and damage something
C. Hurt themselves or someone else

An RC car that goes 40mph is not appropriate for a 6 year old. Good luck 👍
Weirdly enough, I read that as get it...

The AI photos go hard. Bought one for nostalgia (also had a Traxxas as a kid). Also, if you are landing sick jumps make sure you let off the throttle. Lots of gear teeth breaks that way.
