And discs can get damaged over time as well with lots of viewing. I rip my discs to digital files. makemkv is what I use; I don't consider it expensive ($60).

I was looking for full ISO rip, but makemkv doesn't support that.
DVDFab seems to be the only real option, but the software is like $200+ on sale. 😭
