Logitech has 3 different kinds of receivers and different tools to connect devices to each one. Multiple Unifying and Bolt devices can be connected to their respective receivers using Logi Options+ software. The little-known Logitech Connection Utility can connect a single non-unifying device to a non-unifying receiver. Sometimes unifying mice come with a non-unifying receiver. I'm not sure if you can connect those to unifying then reconnect them back to non-unifying, I vaguely recall that being an issue. The Connection Utility hasn't been updated since 2018, but they still make devices that require it and it still works.

I managed to find a link for the old unifying software:

There is also a web utility now. I don't now exactly what it's capable of. "This web application allows you to connect your Logi Bolt, Logi Unifying and Wireless devices"

Good price. Still, I would only buy bluetooth mouse from now on. I have a lot of wireless mouse with the usb adapter missing or messed up, as I used them across desktop, laptops, and chromebooks. Those are not universal adapters. So, they are idle and useless.

On a laptop it does not matter, but when you're using the mouse with a desktop PC, Raspberry Pi or something and it loses the BT connection for what ever reason, you either need a spare mouse to set it up again or have a lot of fun trying to navigate with the keyboard only.

Does it suffer from double click?

That's like asking does a PS5 controller suffer from drift. Yes.

FYI - This is worth buying if you ever lost one of the unifying receivers as the receiver alone is $15 from Logitech for another mouse and/or keyboard. Note, this is using the older unifying receiver and not the newer logitech bolt receiver which is used in the latest MX series.

Never mind, this isn't a unifying receiver as I originally thought. This might be a concern if you have unifying receiver devices already.

I like to try brand of wireless mouse. There is a JellyCombo mouse that I like but I couldn't find the usb receiver. The rest of them are messed up. That is why I would only buy bluetooth mouse for now. I tried the Logitech unify receivers before. Again, I have different brands. I use the mouse across a dozens of desktop, laptops and chromebooks. Unify receivers won't work.

I am constantly in search for the perfect keyboard and mouse for my bizarre computing habits of using multiple computers at the same time... I just got my new Logitech m720 today but I must order this for some reason...God help me.

I don't know if the problem is specific to Logitech wireless mice but every one I have loses battery contact after several years. It seems the spring on the negative side gets weaker with age, Hey don't we all! If I reinsert it it works fine for awhiel. 🙄
