OP: "Note: Requires an Apple device with the Apple TV app to purchase."I don't think that is correct. You just need the Apple TV app. Then should be able to play on any device with that app (PC, Roku...)
You may need an Apple device to buy it, but not to watch it. (In my experience.) I had to use an old iPhone connected to WiFi to buy both this and Buffy but once they are in your library, you can watch them through the AppleTV app (in my case on an Android TV box). Cannot purchase through that particular app. Edit: sounds like apps on Roku and Windows do work, though.
Thanks for posting! I now have achieved my years-long effort of having all of Buffy and Angel digitally for less than the price of one of the DVD boxsets that I wasted so much money on years ago, lol. (I know, I know, physical isn't "wasting," but quite frankly some of them are literally still in plastic, so...)

Everyone talks about physical media but disk rot is a thing. It's good to have a digital backup somewhere.

Cannot purchase through the apps except on an Apple device. I'm guessing there may be a way to do it on PC maybe through installing iTunes or something? (Is iTunes still a thing, lol)?
All I know is I couldn't do it on desktop mode on my mobile browser.
I just checked. I can purchase for the $12.99 on both my Roku (Apple TV app > Store) and through my the Apple TV app on my PC. Since I already have via a FAH purchase, I didn't follow through.
I guess YMMV?

Wow, that's good to know! I didn't try on my Roku device, but I guess Apple just has it out for anything Android, lol! Thanks for correcting me.

(Based on the episode labels on Apple TV, as well as internet confirmation of general Angel/Buffy resolution options)
