Arguably one of the worst endings to a TV series ever. It ended so badly, it took the entire series re-watchability with it. It's not even worth re-watching GoT because it all means nothing. All the plots, all the characters, even the main tagline "Winter is coming"...none of it matters.

This show was all anyone talked about for 3-4 years then bam! That ending erased it from common knowledge. Tragic

I agree. I tried watching it recently to see how it looked in true 4K. It started off so well it made me upset remembering how it ended. Gave me the feeling of wasting my time and I didn't make it to episode two of season one.

Last 3 seasons were complete garbage. Pretty much ruins the entire series. It's hard to rewatch now.

This is because HBO descided to go ahead and film the last seasons without the Novel's writer finishing the books.

Just don't watch the last few seasons. I rewatched the first 2 seasons recently and they were still amazing.

this story was proof that you never begin a story/movie with out the ending written out before hand. As an author I can tell you, seat of the pants writing is dangerous. You get a better product when you have a complete map ahead of you what you want to say, and the trip you want to take the reader/audience on ahead of time.

You make all the courses of the holiday meal, then it's time for dessert and coffee, the final course, only, the coffee is awful and pie sucks. The entire meal is ruined. That is GoT
