Been looking for this one. Saw it at Walmart during Covid for this price. Should have grabbed it. Thanks!

How does it stay hot for "4 hours." Isn't it single wall? To stay warm that long would suggest (demand) insulation but photos show people using it directly on the fire which would imply otherwise. Also the walls look too thin for double layer.

The coffee is actually made in the plastic part and that's what's insulated.

How would this function as a make shift noodle maker?

I think that's a misprint on Amazon -no temperature keeping is listed on stanley website. I personally have had this french press for years and no way it keeps temperature that long. It is single wall and I bought it for that reason, you can put it right on a burner to heat the water. The inner plastic does add a little buffer between the coffee and the outer wall, but its not vacuum sealed or anything.

Thats what I use it for. You have to break ramen in half, but plenty of room for 500ml of water too. I belive it is a liter.

Thank you! That is what I was affair of. Wanted something I could add water from kettle and the FP maintain temp, not so much a FP for direct heating.

If you need it to stay warm for longer than it takes to drink, the Stanley vacuum insulated french press is for you. This thing is only making 16 oz of coffee though so, imo, its ideal because you want it to lose a little temperature before you transfer it to what youre going to drink it out of, and there simply isnt enough room inside to make two portions so you need to do one cup at a time anyway.
