I think most of the times sherpa and fleece are polyester, which sucks, coz they feel so soft but also just cheap material that is very bad for the environment.

Queen size is usually just a little bigger than full. It may be more beneficial to buy queen for full size bed so you have extra fabric to tuck around bed.
Just go into it knowing it's not likely that great of a deal and there is nothing out there to say how long it would last under consistent use.
