You can get this bundle with the 300s instead for $350 more. They're worth $200 more each so that's a slightly better deal. 300s are a big improvement on the 100s.

The only thing that makes me discontent with my Q900D setup is when I go to my buddies place and hear his Sonos. Comparison is the theif of joy.

The Sonos just seems to have more clarity and a 'cleaner' tone. And the bass output and accuracy is unreal on the Sonos.

That said, I still prefer the Q990D simply because of the price tag with EDU/EPP discount. The Sonos is better, but not enough to justify 2-3x the cost, unless you're really into movies. At that point though, I would probably put the effort into a proper AVR setup.

You can piece it together with Costco and do a little better since you get $140 in Apple gift cards plus some other coupons. Only difference is Costco only carries the Gen 3 sub - but it's basically the same as the Gen 4. There is no sound quality difference.

Costco pricing:- Sonos Arc Ultra $879.99- Eras 100 pair $319.99- Gen 3 sub $549.99Total = $1,749.97 + $140 gift cards = $1,609.97

And bonus for Executive Members getting 2% back = $35

I don't think the discount works for the 300s bundle

Looking at the other post, it seems like this code used to work for the 300s....

Many people asked under thread related to Sonos, but no one give a real comparision between this and sumsang 990D. As a sound bar, I personally not believe this have a huge difference compared to 990D. If anyone used both, please advice.

Uhmm I am tempting to swap out my klipsch speakers for these.
IMO Klipsch is better for music but if Sonos would work on their app functionality, their ecosystem for home theatre and integration is outstanding.

It's tempting. Already have ultra for $850 so just wondering would I pay $800 more for the two eras and sub? I guess at the end of the day we can't turn it above 20% at home anyway (sleeping kids at night)

Just bought this exact same setup from Sam's 2 weeks ago. Paid $2400 on sale. Definitely returning for this deal. Before you ask. Setup is easy with their app. It even does a test and adjust the sound for you. For movies and music, these are the best I've ever heard. If you are buying these hoping they will make every day TV sound better, forget it. Your regular TV shows don't have the sound track to get the full potential out of these. Thanks for the post op.
