Mmm lead

Not sure why you were downvoted. This is a real concern. They have found harmful amounts of lead in numerous protein products including this one.

The Consumer Reports investigation used Prop 65 limits which are 0.5 micrograms per day; FDA recommends limits significantly higher than that for children and pregnant women. The worst offender protein powders in the consumer reports list were plant based.

It's also because of cocoa; not the whey protein powder. If you are worried about lead, get the vanilla one.

I am asking only those (who are genetically predisposed?) who actually avoid artificial sweeteners (diet sodas, Equal/Splenda/Sweet'N Low) in daily life because it actually tastes bad and not at all like sugar.

For those who have tried both brand's chocolate flavor (ON Extreme Milk Chocolate [costco.com] vs Kirkland Creamy Chocolate [costco.com]), can you comment on whether you can taste the artificial sweetener (sucralose)?

I mainly stick with Kirkland brand because I don't really taste the sucralose there. I'd prefer to avoid that artificial sweetener aftertaste that I've encountered in other products.
