NACS seems to be getting more popular then J1772, but I'd still buy what you need now and in the future buy an adapter if you need. I bought a J1772 to NACS for $10 on amazon, probably about the same going the other way

Do not buy some cheapo word-soup adapter off of Amazon to connect the most valuable thing you own to the second most valuable thing you own.
Only buy adapters that are UL2252 certified. See the EVCharging subreddit for suggestions.

Ok politically tuned chatgpt....what a sloppy, useless, short sided response. Imagine having a 401k and crying about "supporting" Tesla. You have to work to be this low brow in todays day and age, true ostrich behavior.

As for the deal, theres no reason to buy this. Just get a Tesla charger or reputable brand name NACS. Nearly every car mfg in the USA is going NACS in the immediate future anyway. But like someone else said, I wouldnt be hooking up my home to my car with some unproven non UL certified charger. If it starts a fire, insurance might not even pay out since no UL certification.

$50 cheaper, 1' more of cable, and ultimate garage bragging rights of having a charger capable of 50A charging over 48A of the Tesla one

(Last one not really worth it as a 70A breaker costs 2-3 times more than a 60A)
