Make sure you get sizing correct because they make you pay for return shipping.

I got this same jacket from the last deal just a few weeks ago. It's got nice design and features of a much more expensive jacket. But once I wear it in the mild weather in CA, I can tell its insulation is inadequate and nowhere comparable even to a mid range ($50-$60) jacket. This sale price is probably not far off from where the manufacturer positions it to be. Honestly, for a jacket that looks and feels this thick, I do not expect myself having to add more mid layers in the CA's 40-50 degree weather. The one big factor is likely the wind and this jacket's design not able to effectively block it out.

These are good value, but this was never, ever a $125 coat

I pulled the trigger 2 days ago and ordered this jacket in Eclipse color. I used the SHIP24 code for free shipping. Before that, I tried a few more expensive jackets from Columbia, Marmot, and Rab, but ended up returning all of them because the sizing was off or the quality didn't justify the price. At this price point, I figured there's not much to lose by giving this one a shot.
Does anyone here have experience with this jacket? How well does it handle winter temps around 5–10°F?

The name of the company is 32 degrees, not 5-10 degrees.

I have few jackets including this one. 5-10F, make sure you wear warm clothes inside. These are not North face level insulated but good enough for 15-20F

I bought this for my son and I think it will need a fleece underneath to be able to protect you from cold in single digit

600 fill power of "cloudfill" means there is no chance you're wearing this in 5-10* weather if this is what you want as an outer layer, even if you're being semi-active (walking outside not sitting at a baseball game or something.).

Is this a 50$ coat realistically?

They have a fleece lined one for $5 more that appears warmer, and an ultra light down jacket (only 580 fillpower though) for $30 also.

For $5 more, this might suit you better in 5-10°F. But watch out for the size. The model is 6.1' and wearing size M.

Dont buy this jacket. The material is cheap and the zipper will break on you. I got the same one about 2 years ago.
