Got one yesterday and it's pretty slick for me. Getting a couple more. I will use them for storing essential items in my boat. The liner inside will keep everything dry. Cloth toolbags just aren't working.

I have a couple of these totes to haul stuff to and from our boat like sunblock, towel, sunglasses, etc. Nice totes for that, but if you're hoping for waterproof, keep looking. These aren't waterproof, at best maybe somewhat water resistant.
If you put loose ice cubes inside, the tote will eventually leak water as the ice melts. Use ice packs instead if trying to use the tote as a cooler, and be prepared for the bags not to keep things cold for very long.
I also wouldn't use these for long-term boat storage to keep things dry. It's a $4 tote after all, not a YETI. Buy a dedicated dry-bag for that. But as a day bag for the pool, park, or boat, these are nice cheap bags.
