Get two wires.

Strip both ends.

Get good battery, and dead battery

Connect wires positive with positive, negative with negative

Wait 10mins

Take out wires

Plug dead battery to power source. Should start charging again.

in theory just need a small consistent voltage to jump start

it's the same as having a discharged power bank you haven't used. just plug it into lap/desktop USB with low voltage

Yikes, the reviews show that the batteries on these are non-functioning. Buyer beware.

I got a dead battery from woot. Just jumped it with a good battery and it's been fine since.

I am using exact same drill for last 7 years and its solid for small home DIY jobs. I would have bite it but the shipping is killing it.

I've been using this drill for 7+ years with no issues whatsoever. Never had an issue with the battery, which is still going strong. It's good enough for small jobs around house (e.g., drilling into drywall and/or studs). Unless you are looking for intermediate to professional tools, this is a great deal (I would jump on this if I did not start switching to a different brand's battery ecosystem).

Not gonna bite, have not needed a drill and the battery comments are concerning, but I did click on it for the price.

100% agree.
I have 2x these drills and mouse sander (and some other 20V B&D tools); all are still working perfect and zero issuses with batteries even after 10+yrs. I do have more powerful tools from other brands, but still reaching out for these tools for smaller jobs. The mouse sander is a jewel for my needs; and I use the drill very often.
