I have one of these and I use it to sketch from time to time and while I'm teaching and showing math on a screen. It works really well for the sketching and in every app besides Canva. I don't have any comparison to an actual Apple Pencil but for $5, it's a nice addition to use every now and again.
Just received one today. I have not used an Apple pencil before but this one did a nice job. Honestly, I use an HP pencil with my HP laptop and I can say this one is as good if not better. Connected right out the gate and works as advertised. I will have to test out the battery and see if it lasts long enough but first impression was that its darn good gadget for 5 bucks.
