These are some of my favorite filaments, wish the colors were just basic red/yellow/blue/green combos. Good deal on these, one of the cheaper price points you can get these at. Off chance you have an Anycubic ACE pro, this filament won't work with your AMS, it will drive you crazy for sure.
Why it doesn't work? It doesn't fit you mean?

Any special settings required or nozzles for these?
Shouldn't require any special settings. I'd avoid 0.2mm nozzles with the marble PLA since it tends to clog a little easier.

The only Polymaker filament I struggle with on ACE* pro is the Panchroma Matte (False tangled filament alarms), but interestingly enough the Overture Matte (Supposedly also Polymaker) is fine on my ACE* Pro. I just run the Matte on the spool holder now, takes a minute to switch out... a small trade off since I don't really print multicolor.

*Edit: ACE not AMS
Overture and Polymaker are the same companies but they aren't just rebrands. Their tolerances are not the same. My guess is both factories have the same owner. Overture petg use to come with small build plates.

Not sure if they are but they use to be Amazon basics.

It'll be fine I run the cheapest I can find regardless of brand and has very few issues. I'm convinced most of it comes from the same place.
Not likely when it's so easy to extrude and wind basic filament.

do they carry filament in store?
I don't think so. I saw the Polymaker announcement, which only said it's available at Costco online.

Does anybody know if you can get the $25 Polymaker rebate from ordering from Costco if you buy on sale? That would make this deal even better.

A skull, a fire-y horse. Gold is easy. Or Hueforge a galaxy picture and replace black with gold. Endless easy. Gold and silver are easy as black, white and gray.

It... really, really doesn't.

The different PLA "pro" and PLA "plus" especially are noticeably different between brands if you're asking for more performance than just quick cheap rough toys. Both in terms of print quality (especially at speed, but it also affects slower speeds for how it does with hot small slower layers), shrinkage, surface finish, and even how brittle printed pieces end up, even before getting to issues like thickness tolerance and spool winding consistency. Polymaker is one consistently strong choice and CAN be worth the premium ("worth it" really depends on each person's context).

If you never notice differences between filament with cheaper brands with what you're printing, THATS GREAT. Seriously, glad for you xD

However, for other people, if you're having trouble with prints (even after drying) it can be worth switching to a somewhat more premium filament (and doing some tuning towers/prints) to see if it helps at all. If you're printing a lot of the same thing, it's worth standardizing on a brand that doesn't change its filament additives frequently (and tends to maintain manufacturing consistency), so that you aren't dealing with that as a variable between brands and batches.

For beginners, starting with a well regarded brand and format at a more premium price is WELL worth it to avoid it being something they need to figure out whether the filament might be the problem when having issues.

I know absolutely nothing about 3d printers, but I ordered an ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro 3D Printer for my son, would this filament work for that?
Things to loon for pla, 1.75, and $10 or less a kg for plain colors in bundles.
