I wish Costco sold the standard height Toto drake. The comfort height they sell is too high unless you pair it with a squatty potty.

No problems for over a year on the one I've installed. Just works

I believe that the "tornado" feature is just two/three larger openings under the rim of the bowl that face sideways to force the water to spin around the sides, as opposed to other toilets that have downward facing holes. So the only way for it to break would be for the bowl itself to break.

I had Drake's and switched over to bidets. The drake was undefeated no matter what I fed it.

We went from Kohler that plugged weekly with a five year old to Toto drakes. In ten years, they have plugged a handful of times.

Great toilet. Bought 3 of these for our renovation a year ago and none of them have ever needed a plunge. They advertise you can flush like 14 golf balls down.

Got the Drake with my remodel and have been disappointed. Maybe I got a defective one but the special coating does not work. Things stick to the bowl more than the old 20 year cheapo toilet it replaced.

I have 2 drakes installed and one more, the old toilets would clog and take forever to flush. Haven't had a single issue with drakes in 2 years. Our master isn't a drake and has also been fine, but really just get a toilet that isn't bottom of the barrel

So this is not a pressure-assisted toilet like commercial toilets? There is no pressurized air?

We have two and my teenage boys clogged them a couple of times in a yr. My older ones used to be like 1x a month!

Tempted to get one more to replace the last 90s toilet in my house.

My son would clog the toilet at least weekly. I got a different brand bidet toilet with map 1000 assisted flushing and he has not clogged it at all. I paid a ton for that toilet, but the lack of clogging was worth it.

However, I may go with this Toto toilet for my 2nd bathroom.
