A few differences. The operun pro 2 has:

Richer sound. Latest conduction tech.
Double the battery life. 12 hours vs 6 hours.
A 5 minute quick charge feature that is not available on older models.

I own 3 different shokz, and the best part about this one is the USB c charging. No dedicated charger.

I see many ppl complain about no USB-C charging and is it that bad? I find the magnetic charging cable for my OpenRun Pro v1 to be very good where the magnets give that assurance and don't need to "push in" a USB-C cable. For something this small, I can see ppl use random usb-C cables and some are longer, some are slightly bigger/smaller so over time, it could mess up the port IMO vs the magnetic charger just works. It's not crappy like old Samsung contact chargers or Fitbits....I hated those proprietary ones.
TF. You gotta be real special to not connect things correctly and make the connections worse. LOL! I've had Sammys forever and the worst thing was it not connecting because of lint in my pocket. It got fixed by BB and has not happened since.

To be fair, the openrun Pro 2 is the top model and the openmove is the entry level. A better comparison would be with the openrun or maybe original openrun pro on the used market. Notably, the openmove and pro 2 have usb c, while the original openrun pro has a proprietary magnetic charging port. The open run varies and either has usb c or the proprietary cable.

In case it's relevant, there is such a thing as open ear headphones/earbuds. They don't go into the ear canal, but they aren't bone conduction. It's kind of like a speaker that's aimed at your ear canal, if that makes sense. In a quiet library, I'm fairly certain others will be able to hear them; but it shouldn't be a problem when walking/running in the streets, or commuting on a crowded train/subway (assuming you listen at a reasonable decibel level). Before using Shokz, I used to use these Soundcore V20i [amazon.com], which are $25 right now (the lowest ever price might have been a few bucks cheaper). The ear loops do help in keeping them from falling off when running, but the main reason I switched was because I would sometimes knock them off myself when wiping sweat off my forehead.
Shokz also has their own line of "air conduction" earbuds.

How does this compare with the Openrun SE that Costco has for $75? Maybe the same thing but "costco version?"

The vibrations bypass the ear drum go straight to the Cochlea. I love them because it allows you to hear your music/phone/zoom conversation without blocking your ear canals in the event of another sound, i.e., dog barking, doorbell, car horn, etc.
So this is good if you are outside walking or indoors doing work but what about if you're on a treadmill?
Wouldn't the sound of the treadmill/gym kinda overtake the sound of these earbuds?

Imagine chewing crunchy cereals, you can "feel" the chewing through your bone / body.

Same with this. The voice is conducted through your bone through vibration. It's amazingly clear though. This allows you to hear the surrounding while enjoying the music jugging or mowing the lawn, etc.

I have BIG head. It hurts after wearing a while, though.

I use it on the treadmill at the 24 hour fitness all the time. Once you try one of these bone conducting headsets, it's pretty hard to go back. The only time I would recommend a different headset is when flying. I would recommend cans or earbuds for better hearing. I use these for work conference calls and the gym.
