It's pronounced: Oh-pus, although the kiddies like to have fun with the name. Also this is a top-tier brand with their popular Mega 2 power station.

It's 20ms switch so it's no go for those sensitive electronic devices. Still looking for one less than 10ms like Eco River 3 Plus but concerning the firmware updating, random shutdown and quality.

That's what you say when this thing burns your house down.

"Oupes!"
When it stops working in a year:
"Oupes!"

I realized it has a 6 year warranty:

"Oupes!"

A lot of reviews are saying it's difficult to get the company to honor the warranty:

"Oupes!"

Top tier for me. I'm waiting for an Anker deal to add that, as I've heard great things about Anker.
Depending on the pecon you get a 5 year warranty. 2 standard and 3 more once you register.

Just wanted to add here in case it helps someone else, but I was seriously considering one of these for the same purpose (UPS) but learned that unlike a cyberpower or apc these things go through the inverter constantly. I watched a review on YouTube of this unit and just being powered on with 0 load, it will drain 50-60w. YMMV but electricity is super expensive where I live so I gave up the idea and just externally connected a lifepo4 battery to my cyberpower. That said from my research the oupes seems to have some of the better customer service out there from reading through reddit etc compared to the competition. At least for now..

That may be true, but the Pecron warranty page states buyer pays shipping for warranty service. These things are heavy and expensive to ship.

Wrong battery chemistry bro.
LiFePO4 is considered non-combustible and won't easily ignite or explode, even when punctured or short-circuited.
So no this is not an scooter battery and is highly unlikely to catch fire

I just buy if its sold in any US stores, especially places like Costco, home depot, walmart, home depot, in store when it comes to dangerous or sensitive stuff like this. Not saying this is bad or dangerous, but likelihood of failing or not being able to find parts or repair or warranty issues are my concern. I doubt they will explode or burn your house down, just use them safely and as temporary solution not permanent power supply, these are not generator replacements.

yeah not top tier. Still pretty good though. Top tier can handle surge to the rating, not immediately bog down the moment it goes over the max rating. Semantics of course. But still a fault.

I have multiple oupes products and they are good apart from one solar input going bad. They did honor the warranty and send a replacement.
The customer service is good and they do respond when you email.
