I chose these because they have a healthy number of reviews. Most of those reviews are Vine - and they're quite postive.

Their compatibility can also be hit or miss. It may work in most tools, but sometimes not in all compatible tools.
Personally I've learned my lesson over the years and avoid them completely.
I just wait until there's a good opportunity to get tools that come with batteries or a good sale on the brand name ones.
