With these eco tank ink printers, do they have the printer killer ink drying up in the print head problems if you don't use it weekly?

I went laser after owning countless inkjet printers that I forgot to use weekly. I just gave up and got a brother mono chrome toner based laser printer. Same printer for 10yrs or so now (HL-2280DW) with zero issues. I go through 1 toner cart every year or so and 1 drum every 4 or 5 yrs. Even the drum is a cheap generic as well as $15 toner carts..

I've had this printer for a couple of years now and while the ink life isn't as great as I'd like, it's been a pretty solid printer. This seems like a pretty good value.

Unless it's color laser Dell AIO where the scanner stopped working and making the rest of printer useless including printing.

well, then the op should say its 1 year of ink supply or something. i can only read it as printer with up to 1-year in box. 1 year of what?
