Seems like a good price for something that has good reviews. Coming from someone with no experience, just entering the switch ecosphere now... what makes this better?

Available on black & white controllers looks like, blue & purple are more and grey is cheaper ($30) but wired.

I asked question a few times when people start bashing switch controllers and I have yet to get an answer. I've bought some PowerA controllers for the kids and they have no complaints. Hopefully someone answers your question.

Must be hard to make the buttons on controllers that shine through like keyboard keycaps. Since I don't think I've ever seen a controller that does.

I've had this controller since they released these and I've had 0 issues with it so far. Battery last a good amount for me (Don't have an exact amount of hours but I casually play and it lasts a few weeks almost a month usually.). It has good range and actually farther range then the Joy Cons do. Feels good in my average savage finger man hands.

We have three of these and one version 1 pro controller. These have been pretty solid. I slightly prefer the original pro controller but this has a really good feel and for the price I would get these all day long. One of our develop a bad stick shortly after we bought it but we were able to exchange it with the retailer. We have had them all over a year. Battery life seams shorter than the pro controller but is still sufficiently long.

Doesn't have rumble, but that's what made me choose this over the official. Never cared for rumble in my controllers, a waste of battery life honestly. Got the purple wireless, very easy to setup, just requires your joycons being turned on as you pair the controller.
