Just to add, this has been up for days. My buddy tried to order twice and has two pending charges now with no confirmation email. Order at your own risk.

The melting is based on the version of the person and not the GPU version, so you probably need to ask yourself whether you're capable of connecting VGA cables tightly and properly Wink
You're asking too much. The average SDer can't tie their own shoes without tying them together, in my experience 🤓

Come on. It's just BS design that can burn the power connector for a damn loose connection. Definitely engineering fault.

I don't know specifically about this GPU but if a device is designed to be installed by the average user and there are a large number of users who are burning up their device because of an issue with the install, the engineers failed at making the device in a way that can be installed by the average user. Apply the same logic to a cellphone.

some 5090's were catching on fire when they initially released, I have not heard of that being a real issue for months. And if i'm not mistaken the issue was related to the power connector.

They won't ship to APO addresses. I guess military customers are SOL.

That is 5090. This pulls much lower power.
