Well, I asked Chad & got some good recommendations:
To refresh Books 1–12 at a high level:
1. Start with "As The Wheel Turns" — for short, book-level recaps.
2. Supplement with fan podcasts like The Wheel Reads and Cool Story for more detail as needed.
3. Use YouTube summaries (e.g., Daniel Greene) at increased playback speed for deeper plot continuity.
4. Optional: Refer to chapter summary text sites if you just want a written refresher you can skim/convert to audio.
Read 7 or 8 books in the late 90s.
Reread those + the next 2-3 books in 2005/06.
Now it has been so long I think I need to reread them all again and finish this finally.
Anyone else do this? I'm a slow reader, so its brutal even when the books are great lol

Almost the exact same cadence for me.
Books 7-(11 or 12? don't remember where I stopped) are a bit of a slog.I've heard it ends amazingly though...
I wish there were decent 20-30 min audio summaries so I could catch up driving, mowing, etc

The link says the bundle is no longer available and hasn't been since May?
I've posted the correct URL. I looked at book bundles and it was at the top. May want to look at other bundles. Or not...I get sucked into buying and adding to my backlog. 😖

Supports the ACLU, sorry but that's a hard pass for me. Love these books though.

i read it all, gradual wide development, satisfying conclusion.
was fun to see the first parts on TV but book readers knew
they would never be able to stick it out thru to the very end.
