Pretty good deal for the price. Is it one of those pseudo-2K displays?

For thst price, it is a very good deal except for,

- The display isn't that great (Check it yourself at BestBuy)
- The weight is almost 3.9lb (Heavy for 2in1)
- The processor is from 2023, and it is not the new efficient Ryzen AI 5 340, 2025

Also, the HDMI port only supports 1080p.

HDMI 1.4 - The maximum resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1080 at 60Hz. No 4K/2K output.

I does have 2 USB-C ports that support PD and Display port 1.4 that can support 4k video with an adapter to HDMI.

Do you get audio over HDMI with the display port to HDMI adapter?

I got the 8gb version of this for 200$ I checked every day and got one last week. Battery on my used floor version is about 4 hours.

HDMI works at 4k 30hz... I think you are getting the refresh mixed up at 4k it is only 30hz which makes mousing around unbearably slow, you can run your 4k at 1440 for office work too at 60hz.

Like everyone mentioned displayport adapters work at 4k 60hz which is my max. Kinda a weird implementation that doesn't seem to support dual adapter ones hubs which 5 year old laptops do.

Is very fast even though is a 2023 CPU. Unless you are doing AI I would forget about getting the latest and greatest.

The AMD Radeon™ 760M with 8 GPU cores is much better than the new AMD AI laptops i see advertised with 4gpu cores. You can game on this low for older titles as is. Low on 3d titles if you upgraded a stick to 16gb for 24gb total. There is a youtube video for that cpu or the GPU i forget. My older games and side scrollers worked fine. Diablo 4 choked definitely needs more ram than my 8gb total.

The M2 and Ram is upgradeable to ridiculous amounts.

I would go into the AMD Adrenaline software and increase the brightness just the brightness to 13-23 , using the gear in the upper right. The screen is bad but looks better if you do that and go into the My Dell software and change video to Cinema.

It isn't heavy for a 2 in 1 they weigh more. Touchscreen is great and I have a pen from a chrombook that work on it.

It is let down by the screen, am returning mine. It looks like there are lines on the screen every other line (like old tv scanlines) but it/s only noticeable on the left 3/4ths the right seems clean?
It has been powered on for a year so might be because it is a floor unit.

I think it is a fast laptop for the money. The display really lets it down.
If you were always plugging it into a monitor and sometimes using it as a 2 in 1 it would be pretty good.

But really the most important thing for a laptop is a decent display and I don't think this has it. Not sure why is pretty bad but it is. Not a wise thing to cheap out by Dell.

How would it compare to this HP OmniBook? Obs the HP is more expensive but is anything about it THAT much better than this one?
