It doesnt have a graphics card. The 860M is integrated and so-so. The RAM quantity is just packaging. An omnibook flip isn't a graphics machine.

Avoid the Omnibook X if you do any regular amount of typing. The keyboard is awful.

I was able to order a good condition open box for a pickup, total of $378 - looking forward to it, unless it gets cancelled tomorrow morning.

Me too ($353.99 before tax). For these specs I think I'll be OK w/o a chiclet keyboard. This seems like the best deal posted here for an open box HP OmniBook X Flip. Only the Core Ultra 5 226V, 16" FHD+ Touch, 16GB version was cheaper and that was by $19.

It is so you can have 8 gigs dedicated to the GPU, but it is similar to an Arc 130V in most areas, so single player games are playable with FSR and Framegen in some instances. But it is definitely not the top of the line. The Ryzen AI 350 is out there to compete with the 226V and 256V on efficiency. It doesn't quite match the 256V but the additional RAM really makes you think about any purchase between the two of them.

Honestly though the 256V at this price is probably more powerful if you want it for gaming or graphics.

Also, the build quality on many of these Omnibook Flip models is very nice.

The price on these has dropped to $375.99 Open Box Excellent as of this morning. That's a pretty damn good deal for this much RAM.

just heads up - i bought one in Sept/Oct this year for around 450$ excellent condition. laptop appearance is brand new but windows didnot login. it did not even detect wi-fi signals. i tried with a dock thru LAN cable it logged in .but it never had a wi-fi working. tried several times with Bestbuy customer service for repair/replacement but nothing worked out. as the return window only 15 days, i was forced to return.
this spec vs price is awesome. so i just bought it again now. lets see my luck.
If you bought it, i would say please setup/test it from day1 of receiving. You have sufficient time till 15-jan in case noothing worked out and you can return.
Also HP have "Peace of mind" warranty. so check with the laptop serial# and buy a protection plan from HP directly. if you dont use that, you will get back the amount. you must claim in 30 days of expiry, but you get the coverage and your money is returned if did not claim.
hope this helps.

This happened to me with an open box Omnibook. Windows install didn't see the WiFi or touchpad. I used HP Cloud Recovery Tool on another laptop to create an image on a USB drive and from that was able to install on the Omnibook with everything working.
