My understanding is that the drying is what fades black. Wash and hang to dry is apparently the solution.

Hang dry will leave a musky smell, especially in cold weather. Mold is also a problem. For dark cotton pants, no matter which water temp you use, hot, warm, cool, or cold, the pants will fade.

i like the comfort and fit of extreme motion lee pants - ordered them a few times in different colors, fabrics
Colorfastness is not good though - after 1-3 washes they don't look new anymore

I've had mine for over a year, wash them correctly and they don't fade. A capful of woolite that's pennies goes a long way.

You could squat in these, basically. They do not restrict movement nearly as much as traditional denim jeans would.

Edit: I realize these are the other ones lol. They are very stretchy and comfortable basically. Same with the extreme motion denim jeans as well.

They don't last but anything named "Extreme Motion" probably won't last long. I machine wash and hang dry. Their cargo pants def last longer, but are made of harder material.
