Might be a stupid question but are books not almost always cheaper on amazon or target? Usually have bought from them (granted not immediately on release of the book). So is B&N more for new releases?

Yes, most books are cheaper on Amazon. However, I have spent quite a bit at BN cause of my daughter's need for instant gratification! ๐

My Barnes and Noble store has many toys and bored games including Lego. They also have a nice clearance book/item area and tons of interesting magazines which you may not see at other stores. They have magazines from the UK which are expensive because they are imported.
If you like nice old fashioned book style, B&N sells classic books in the nice old fashioned bindings that would look nice on the bookshelves.
I am sure you can use B&N gift card at the Starbucks Cafe inside B&N. They have Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices at my store.
Also, in my humble opinion, nothing beats going to the local bookstore to browse and look at physical books.

They're good when they have b2g1 deals. Also the books are usually in better condition than if you order from amazon.
