Nothing wrong with 1080p but I also balked and kicked my self because I just sprang for the 98$ 32" 1440. I'm still ok with that one but this was tempting as well.
Yes, that's considered the lowest. I've had monitors and laptops with 250 nit display and it always looks dark, even at the brightest settings. I would recommend getting at least 300 nit displays. Your eyes will thank you.

Been on a monitor shopping mission for the last few weeks and have been going down this rabbit hole of finding an ever increasing number of specs to look out for. ;.;Either have to up my budget or compromise I suppose!
