I have it an it cools fine but if your gaming get a laptop cooling pad or prop up the back off the surface.
This is a 4 lb very portable laptop with a full 125w 4070. What would you honestly expect running BG3 on max 1600P at 180 fps? It's an excellent laptop for the price if you want the smaller form factor. In return something to keep the underside vents off a surface is all you need for ambient cooling
And every serious review of this pc has it as top choice. Even over the Blade which was $2000 new to this being $1600 new when they both came out.

Ebay runs a 20% discount code that Acer participates in.
Buyers purchase using the code at the current sale price.
Instead of completing the sale, Acer cancels all orders using the code and increase the prices 20%, thus negating the promotion.
Then Acer tells you to buy again at the higher price like they think you're a retard
Don't participate in the sale if you're not gonna honor the sale!
It seems to me that they accidently posted it at the price after the 20%. The image says $764.43 after coupon (unless they changed that as well). So it being $764 before the coupon seems like an obvious mistake.
Now, whether that is still a good price for this laptop is the question. Of course it's not the really great price of $612, but is it still worth it? My son is looking for a laptop in this range. He was going to bite on one of the Acer deals that had a 5060 for around the same price, until he discovered that line had a major power issue. This one is a 40XX gen, but it's still a 4070. He doesn't care about the smaller screen as he's going to hook it into a monitor for his main screen. Plus he wants something more portable, so a smaller screen may work better for him.
edit: I see it was posted late November for $774 (presume without a coupon), so maybe they did go up on it. Or that was a Black Friday deal that went up before this coupon, then they made the mistake of changing the price to to after coupon price. Either way, some in that thread seemed to think it was a good price at $774.

Thanks, I have read many reviews and used the device. Outstanding cooling and air flow. Try getting your information from actual reputable places instead of Facebook.

At $612 it was a good deal, at $764 I'll 100% pass.
