Well that's just it isn't it? Water coolers and case prices are coming down but RAM and hard drive prices are soaring. It's a weird trend for better or for worse.

It isn't weird at all. AI is the reason RAM prices are rocketing. OpenAI alone has picked up an obscene amount of RAM from Samsung and Hynix and Crucial has jumped out of the consumer sector so Micron can focus on AI.
