Posted mainly because availability before Christmas and now showing discounted Open box in stock. Not a slickdeal by definition, more of a slick stock availability alert. I was having difficulty finding this at Microsoft, asus, Walmart, and Amazon.

So overpriced imo. I bought a lightly used rog allyx z1e for $500.

Love mine. Tried this and the Legion Go 2, preferred this. Better sound, better ergonomics. Dont mind the smaller screen at all and actually prefer it when gaming while it is being held. Dropped in a 4TB nvme and can play everything I have wanted.

Bought the OG Z1e for 350 used from facebook over a year ago. People couldn't get rid of them.

The z2e is like 15% increase in performance its not worth it imo if u look at the benchmarks

For me, this device is so good, after 45 years of tech, if I could send only 1 device back in time, this would be it. I can literally play every game in history with this device. I also have the og z1 extreme, but this one shines with the usb4 built in which isn't present in the original. I have a 5090 in a Razer egpu setup and this have no issues running on my Samsung 8k. I have the kill switch armor for this, so I can take this anywhere (I no longer need laptops) because this is also a capable pc device. To me the real robbery is the switch 2, because if you do the entire math of that system, that is way more expensive than this. I can play PlayStation games, Xbox, Steam, emulations (Switch Ryujinx), any controller, and I'm literally using it now at my hotel. Plus going this up to AR glasses adds another layer as to why this is the future for gaming, although I'm likely to retire after this system.

Not defending the price beause it clearly isn't worth 1000 dollars but the performance at lower wattage is the main attraction. Like 15w tdp on this is roughly the same as 25-30w on the z1e.
