It says induction compatible, but looks like it's not because it's made of aluminum.

Are you beating your counter or stove with this for the handle the break off? I've had countless greenpans bought from tjmaxx and never had the handle break off. Yes, the non stick properties will wear off... Just buy a new one at that point.
