Yeah, it's thin plastic. Hard to cut perfectly straight though. I use it in my son's room and trim the edges after it's taped down with a razerblade.

if i have a big drafty window like this - how do i use this? would i put it over my blinds and just keep the blinds open all winter long? that kind of creeps me out as we have people in the backyard all the time since i live in a townhouse setting with everyone sharing the yard.
