On mine, the AOI pump was connected to CPU_OPT. I moved it to AOI_PUMP and made sure that AOI_PUMP is set to always 100% speed.

All of the other fans were daisy chained and were connected to CPU_FAN. This means whenever the CPU works hard, all 7 fans go to 100% (loud).

I disconnected the 3 bottom fans from the daisy chain and connected to CHA_FAN_2, 3 and 4.
I disconnected the rear fan from the daisy chain and connected to CHA_FAN_1.
I left the 3 AOI radiator fans daisy chained and connected to CPU_FAN.

In the bios, I left CPU_FAN speed at Standard with CPU temp as the source. This had them running about 600 rpm at idle. When the CPU heats up they go to max (about 1500 rpm) but are still reasonably quiet.

The other fans are a different model, and spin a little faster (and louder) at Standard (about 800 rpm). They also spin faster (and louder) at 100% power (about 2200 rpm). So I set them to manual, and lowered the idle and low temperature %s a little so they would also run at about 600 rpm at idle.
Finally, I set the source for all of these other fans to Motherboard, not CPU. That way they will only speed up if the whole case gets warm and needs additional ventilation.

That's like comparing apples to oranges.

- Ryzen 9 7900x doesn't even support DDR4 ram
- The timing on DDR4 is MUCH MUCH less than DDR5, which offsets the differences in speed (so no, your 6000 DDR5 is not 2x better than a 3000 DDR4 due to DDR4 being around CL16 and 6000 DDR5 being around CL36)
- Ryzen CPUs in particular like having 6000 MHz, having slower ram will hamper your CPU performance
- 5200 is like bottom of the barrel speeds for DDR5 (4800 is actual bottom of the barrel)

This is slow RAM.

edit: sigh why do i bother replying to some people.

Same complaint with my current iBuypower I got years ago. Fans seem more audible than they need to be, even at idle
Now that I have put the fans in a reasonable configuration, it is dead silent (yes!) at idle. And running Cinebench or 3DMark, just a slight increase. Once fans are set smartly, no PC with a AIO cooler should be even slightly loud.

Stick with the Walmart.
Research how to optimize the fans. My recent iBuyPower (Costco) is a great unit but the fans and pump were configured in ways that maximized noise and hampered cooling.
What did you do to adjust it? Ive been messing with fancontrol and cant get the pc to run normal at idle with quieter fans

over priced CPU released in 2022 is garbage and it was a weird chip back in 2022 when released with the same performance as the 7600x and 7700x (this isnt the x3d for gamers )- no way at 2k and i dont even game id go i7 or i9 core at least with better ram for productivity office excel video editing etc or go all out with the rysen 3d series for gaming offering far superior FPS but you aint do any of that sh*t with this garbage turtle ram & cpu! Flush this socialist crap down the toilet...

Snagged this, great deal for a 5080 with solid parts. Anyone complaining about the speed of the ram, I am sorry that something that miniscule and imperceptible really bothers you. Some things are valid concerns when buying a PC. The difference in DDR5 speeds... Yeah, that won't hold me back on a good deal

I compared quite a few gaming PCs. The GPU is 5080 top tier card, worth of $1100-$1200. The RTX 5080 is a significantly more powerful card. It has more CUDA cores and faster memory bandwidth than the 5070 Ti. The Y40 is a premium "fishtank" style case that usually costs more than the standard mesh cases. It has excellent airflow for the GPU specifically. The 7900X is still a 12-Core / 24-Thread beast.

Seems like a deal enticing you with the 5080 but RAM and CPU aren't the ones you'd like to see in a "perfect" build. Still solid deal with current prices AND likely price increases in 2026.

How do you feel about this vs the Costco $2200 with 9900X and 3080?

I imagine the Costco one is altogether a better buy. Better parts from MSI.
I ended up ordering the Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 30L (AMD) with RTX 5070Ti 7950X3D $1804.99 with EXTRAFIVE coupon.

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/de...90yj0016us

$1,263.49 with 30% C1S offer I got. Though I've never used them, it's pending and they way they work with rotating gift cards isn't as good as cash.
