you almost had me until I saw the $600+ price tag. No way it's worth that much. You could buy 10 of the samsonite for less than that.

Even worse. If you want one last longer, go for Tumi Alpha.

Swissgear backpacks are pretty popular in the traveling Automation Engineer community. They get beat up and are exposed to some pretty rough environments. They last well.

I know GoRuck was once well-liked -- before they shipped their "always made in the usa" industry to Viet-Nam of all places.

which is code for 'made in china' since everyone somehow moved overnight from china to vietnam--yeah right. The first place I saw this was the home depot 'everbilt' brand during the pandemic--one week made in china, next week made in vietnam--yeah right.

I have a $10 Amazon Basics Backpack that I have been using for 3 years now, Still going strong - no rips, tears and looks like new still even though I use it everyday. There are compartments for 2 16" laptops, 2 water bottles, additional space for bringing my food to work and so much more. Had a Swiss Gear and it lasted 2 years with tears everywhere.

Why you guys laugh the people driving Lexus while you drive a broken Kia.
To the people don't understand, this is analogy, not about cars.
