You will need to watch the little metal skid shoes on the bottom - they wear out fast
If you dont replace them the plastic blade will wear out quick.
I 3d printed some replacement shoes because greenworks never seems to have any in stock.

Corded here too. I am hoping we will start seeing 240v snow blowers, as more and more people add EV chargers in their garage. Heck even 2000watt motor for 120/20amp circuit will be cool, but that is likely to never happen.

I have a corner lot with a big side yard, so have a lot of sidewalk. I definitely need 2 batteries to finish the driveway and sidewalks. if you have a standard lot, one battery should be good
That said, I have many other Greenworks 80v tools and they have all been fantastic, except for this snowblower. I ended up getting their 80v 2-stage snowblower and it has been incredible, and it effortlessly powers through everything that this 1-stage snowblower would stall out on. Pretty sure I had a knot in my back all winter when I still used the 1-stage snowblower from all of the shoveling I had to do that it couldn't handle; now with the 2-stage I haven't had a knot since.
Anyway, if you live in an area that gets any significant amount of snow, and/or if you often have heavy wet snow, I would highly recommend a 2-stage (or 3-stage!) snowblower instead.
The rubber paddle is better. Can push about 3-6 inches of snow depending on the conditions. Chute gets clogged so be sure to spray it down with a non stick.
250 shipped isn't that bad if you are already invested in this line. Comes with 2 batteries that cost about 150 total. So really this unit alone is 100 bucks.

But on eBay.com, there is no free 80V 2AH battery.
