"AI" is an entire field (along with a bunch of marketing nonsense), not a single technology. Image classifiers aren't the same as resource-hungry generative AI.

I'm sure people know this, but these have had a sudden and gigantic jump in "retail price" recently.

Also, look for ones that have SD cards included so you don't have to purchase a subscription. I got one that included a SD card and had slightly better resolution for $40.

Blink outdoor camera, blink hub has SD card slot. No subscription required.
